What RootsCamps have started

A spark is a collaboration, project, or connection that began at a camp. Here's what's grown out of RootsCamp camps.

Federal Workers Alliance for Democracy

Rooted

Born in a RootsCamp breakout session: a coalition of federal workers organizing to defend democratic norms from inside the agencies. What started as a conversation between three organizers from different states became a Signal group, then a network, then a formal alliance now organizing across federal agencies.

Follow-up update

"The alliance now counts members across 15 federal agencies. They've coordinated public letters, internal organizing trainings, and a legal defense network. Still growing every cycle."
